chances for ucla, boston university, and boston college

<p>Help a junior out!!! my counselors are finally going to meet with my grade and they are stressing me out with college; they have not been helpful so far</p>

if my dad has a bachelor's degree and my mom has a middle school education, am i first generation for college? someone told me this and i'm not sure

<p>No, your not a first generation college student if your dad went to college.</p>

<p>I’m really only familiar with BU and BC. I think those schools are both good matches for you considering your credentials. You also have a greater chance of getting in with your status as a URM.</p>

<p>Also, I definitely think your volunteering at UCLA Hospital shows great interest in the school.</p>

<p>Northwestern, NYU, and UCLA will be your highest reaches, but they’re certainly not out of reach. BC will be a low reach, but you’re in good shape for everything else :)</p>
