<p>Retake your SAT1, that's way lower than the normal applicants for UCLA.</p>
<p>Otherwise you'd better have one hell of an essay. But other than that one thing, your GPA and SAT2 looks strong. Your EC's show commitment.</p>
<p>I also think you're in at UCSD.</p>
<p>Piano is technically only 3-4 years because you can't add anything before Freshmen year.</p>

<p>Your GPA is strong, and your ECs are good. Your only weakness is the SAT, which is about 150 points below the average. With really great essays, you'd have a better shot. I'd say slight reach. I'd say UCSD is a safe match.</p>

<p>Only if you have them. Most don't. UC may request a midyear report if you are a borderline applicant.</p>
