Chances for UCLA & USC?

I just became a junior in HS, haven't taken psat/sat this year yet but I want to start thinking about where I'm going and how I can improve my current standing.

I live in nyc but these two are probably my top preferences. I'll also apply to NYU but I'm not sure about anything else. I am Asian, female.

GPA (uw): 3.5
PSAT to SAT (freshman, soph years): 1800-1900's
I know it seems low but I go to a very competitive & large HS and the stats seem close compared to the people who have applied/been accepted from my school in the past:
my grades: gpa90.38 sat1850
UCLA avg: gpa92.87 sat2091
USC avg: gpa90.82 sat2076

do these "how you compare" scores matter compared to the average people who are accepted across the country?

soph year:
english honors
ap human geography

this year I haven't applied for special classes because it brought my gpa down last year; I applied for honors/ap english classes but they didn't go through for some reason. I'm not sure if they'll let me transfer now

ECs:
chinese new year show 2yrs
debate team 1yr
urban dance 1yr
key club 1yr

^do they check up or require you to include how many years you spent in clubs? I didn't like the last three much and might join 1-2 different clubs this year or join a sport in the spring.

Say I raise my gpa to 3.6-3.7 these next two years and SAT somewhere in the 2000-2100 range, how am I looking?

bump …

Come back next year, theres too much “assuming”, right now i’d say both are solid reaches for you.

ah, true, thank you.
