what are my chances for uconn, northeastern, uri, st. john's (nyc), temple, and rutgers
my stats: 1750 on SAT (670 math, 570 writing, 510 critical reading), 25 on ACT, 3 AP's (3 on AP US and AP World) (4 on Chemistry), my gpa is 93.49 out of 100 (weighted) 92.12 (unweighted), JV/Varsity Soccer for 4 years (all-league 12th grade), Varsity Spring and Winter Track for 4 years, play baritone saxophone in jazz band and concert band (played for 8 years), National Honor Society, National Italian Honor Society, AP Scholar, I live in NY btw

Lower than average chance. If you are able to retake the SAT, I would advise that you concentrate on that reading score.

Chances? SAT Math 560, Verbal 540, Writing 540. GPA 3.54/4.0. Soccer captain this year varsity x4yrs, Community Service x3yrs Vice President last yr, Lacrosse varsity x3yrs. 2 APs, 1 Honors course. Sis currently at UConn, father is an Alum along with grandfather, aunts and uncles. In state. Any chance?

Same chance and advice, but for both math and reading.

Thanks, ThePhilosopher. Already taken the SAT x3, same scores basically every time. Just not a standardized test taker, but a strong student … actively participates in class, hard worker etc. UConn basically just looks at the numbers, tho, correct?

Hello.
Your chances are good at Temple, Northeastern. URI will accept you. UConn will be a bit difficult.

nerbsmom, you have all those alum in your family, though! I think that will help, UCONN seems into that! I honestly don’t think my D would have gotten in with her stats (which I really don’t remember now) without her grandparents being alum. I think she was very happy that she got accepted & someone else in her high school class did not. (with better stats). It is a crap shoot at best, I always say!

I forgot to add, we are OOS for UCONN.

SLUMOM, unfortunately the app did not ask about alum other than Dad. So not sure they know about the others.
