Chances for UCs.. again

I got my October ACT scores this morning - I went up two composite points (yay!!), and I was wondering if my improved test scores would improve my chances of getting into the more competitive UCs (mainly UCLA and UCSD)...

UC GPA: 4.05
ACT: 32 (E: 34, R: 32, M: 29, S: 31)
SAT: 1940 (CR: 690, M: 570, W: 680, essay 8)
SAT II: Lit - 730
US - 680
Japanese - 660 (retook in November, hoping for 700+)

I'm also retaking SAT I this December, so how much would you say I would have to get my SAT scores up to improve my chances of getting into UCLA or UCSD?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

UCSD Slight Reach
UCLA Reach

you would need about a 2050+ for ucsd and a 2150+ for UCLA

I think UCSD is a match, while UCLA is a slight reach.

I doubt college admissions are as hard as people make it out to be.

Use your ACT scores
A 32 is somewhere between to 2160-2210 (according to Wikipedia, and they use the UC conversion chart, I think)

Yeah, I plan on using my ACT scores. Thanks!

adzuki:

UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach

SD is a match school..
