Essays are pretty good and my intended major is either mechanical or civil engineering.
Also, can anyone recommend me some CSUs that are good for engineering.

Thanks.

UCLA: High Match
UCSD: Match
UCD/UCI/UCSB: Low Match
CSUF/UCR/SDSU/CSULB/SJSU: Safety

I would replace CSUF with Cal Poly Pomona (Better Engineering school). You also have a decent chance at UCB. You have a very balanced list.
Good Luck

Thanks a lot for your input, Gumbymom!. It’s greatly appreciated. However, does anyone else think my ECs are too weak. I don’t have a single club and I’ve only volunteered at this one hospital. Also, I have a sort of unusual EC, but I don’t know if I should put that in. Thoughts?

Although EC’s are considered at the UC’s, GPA/Test Scores/Course Rigor are the most important. UCLA and UCB tend to be more holisitic in their admissions, so EC’s may weigh more heavily, but there is really nothing else you can do at this point. If your “unusual EC” is something you spend a great deal of time doing, you might want to add it.

I spend a few hours a day playing online poker. I’ve been playing for about 5 years and started playing for real money since I’ve turned 18. It’s not like I’m gambling because everything is almost all math based, but I’m afraid it might appear a bit unsavory?

Gambling with REAL money won’t look good in app, no matter how you phrase it. I think you need to keep that one out. Although “utilizing math concepts in poker(with no money)” sounds interesting, doing it for real money doesn’t sound good.

Yeah, you’re probably right. I’ll be sure to leave that one out to be safe. Thanks, paul2752.

Bump. Any input is appreciated guys.

Also chances for regents scholarships at any UC?

Your GPA is average for UCD and UCI and below average for UCSD and UCLA. Your intended major is impacted, so you would need above average stats.
UCLA - low reach
UCSD - high match
UCD/UCI - match
UCSB - low match
