<p>-California resident, asian male, first generation college student, low-income, from horrible public highschool.</p>
<p>-Classes: mainly, I try to take the hardest classes, though my school only offers a few APs. 4 years of French, 4 years of English, 4 math etc.</p>
<p>-AP classes: US History, English language, Eng lit this year, Calc this year, and maybe environmental.</p>
<p>-AP test scores: 3 on US hist, and 3 on Eng lang.</p>
<p>-Honors: Chemistry, (1 semester for the following [time in DC paging] --->)Government, Physics, Anatomy, Precalc.</p>
<p>ECs: -Spring semester of my junior year in Washington DC in the congressional page program working on Capitol Hill on the House floor: Jan-June, 2006. (Pretty prestigious/competitive program on the federal level, sponsored by congressman)
-Two three week sessions during the summer in DC continuing my internship: June-Aug. Same program as above, but sponsored twice more by congressman in new sessions with selection process.<br>
-Piano: California Certificate of Merit: levels 6 through Advanced, plus music theory exams, passed with honors.
-Orchestra for my junior year of highschool.
-Karate advanced brown belt, started 6th grade to junior year.</p>
<p>-GPA: unweighted 3.85
weighted 4.2</p>
<p>Rank 11 out of 419</p>
<p>-SAT I: 1880 but retaking to get at least 2000.</p>
<p>SAT II: retaking lol</p>
<p>so what are my chances at UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara.</p>
<p>What about any of the ivies...just on a whim? :) What about other top east coast schools like Georgetown (which i rlly am interested in since i spent 6 months in Washington DC during my internship.)</p>
<p>Yea, I know my stats etc aren't that great compared to everyone else here.</p>
<p>BTW, what do u think are my strongest points? demographics? the internship? grades? ( i know not test scores haha).</p>
