My essay is pretty good, nothing amazing but gets the job done.

My top choices right now are UCLA and USC. My intended major for both is computer science which is both in their colleges of engineering.

Also applying to:
UCSB (College of Engineering)
UC Davis (L&S)
UC Berkeley (L&S)
UC Santa Cruz (School of Engineering)
Cal Poly SLO

I'd greatly appreciate it if you guys could chance these schools for me and share if you have any tips because I am really stressing out about college apps. Thank you!

Omg you should get into an Ivy League with your transcript! How did you attain a perfect score on your math section for the SATs? Seriously so jealous! I think you definitely will get into all of the schools you apply to! Best of luck! (And sorry that I don’t have any tips… I’m only a junior…)

UCLA- low reach/high match (only because it gets a ridiculous amount of applicants)
USC- match
UCSB (College of Engineering)- low reach/match
UC Davis (L&S)-safety
UC Berkeley (L&S)-high reach/reach
UC Santa Cruz (School of Engineering)- low reach
Cal Poly SLO-unfamiliar, sorry!
Quick suggestion: If you want more safeties, try Purdue and Case Western Reserve University. Both have awesome comp sci programs!

Good luck with everything! I hope we can all get through the college app process with our sanity intact :)

Chance me back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1577930-yet-another-chance-post-check-out-maybe.html

UCLA - high match/low reach (probably closer to the match)
USC - match
UCSB - match
UCD - low match
Cal - low reach (GPA is just above average/below average respectively, but everything else is good. UCs value GPA)
Cal Poly SLO - match/high match (SoE has high competition)

Thanks guys! That makes me feel much better(: and thanks for the tip, I’ll look in to Purdue and Case Western Reserve.

I think that perfect math score on your SAT and your near-perfect math subject test will definitely help.

UCSB: low match
UC Davis: low match
UC Berkeley: match/high match
UC Santa Cruz: safety/low match
Cal Poly SLO: low match
