<p>Tom, why would you make UCI a "match" and UCD a "reach"? Have you actually looked at the acceptance information for the two schools? They couldn't be much closer without actually -- you know -- being the same school. Perhaps there is some sort of academic tunneling electron microscopic that can detect fine differences not apparent to old, bifocal-enhanced eyes?</p>
<p>your **weighted **gpa is 3.5? i think it is low for competitive uc's (ucla, berkeley, sd)
and you're not really "disadvantaged"... many uc applicants are immigrants but still have stellar test scores and gpa</p>
<p>you'll probably get into csu's...
and ucr, uc merced, & uci...</p>
