Chances for UC's (UCD,UCSB,UCI,UCSC)...

Hello, I would love to hear what you think my chances are for the mid-tier UC schools. My stats aren't amazing, but I hope that they are acceptable for the schools that I am interested in. My low GPA can be attributed to my grades in the math courses that I have taken (I'm terrible in math).

Additional notes:
UC schools that I am interested in: UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UC Irvine
I have an upward trend in my grades from 9th-11th grade, starting from a 3.0 and to 4.25...
I am a minority (African American), though AA is not around anymore...
I have taken around 50 A-G courses.

If you guys need any other information to give me more accurate chances, please let me know, and I will provide the information to the best of my ability.

you got a fair shot to any of those choices imo, 3.6 might hold you back a little, but with strong sat scores, ap test scores, plenty of extracurricular activities, great writing skills from what you say, i wouldint sweat it. Would even apply to ucla for a long shot imo, never know. next year though, uc's wont require the 2 subject test anymore, and with budget cuts, might make it a bit more competiive for admissions and to stand out.

I think my GPA would hold me back for LA/Cal/SD...
I'm not sure about the others.

You are in

unless u write a mediocre personal statement

"You are in"
Are you referring to all 4 of the schools?
If so, why do you think that I am in?

I believe you have an very real chance of getting into UCLA, UCSD, Cal. Your package of background, activities, and improving (though not fantastic) GPA, give you a very real shot. UCLA has been embarrassed by how few African American students they admit and even without that background, I think you sound good when considering your whole package. Note, my opinion is based on taking your word that you have "amazing personal statements".

bring up my post.
