My essays were… meh. I honestly don’t really know what to rate them as I did not edit them as much as I would have liked. I mean the ideas could have been good? I wrote about stuff like carnivorous plants but I feel like there could have been more meat in the essays.
I know rogerhub has the probability calculator, but it doesn’t really consider any subjective components of my application. I also don’t really think I have a 60%+ chance of getting into UCSD… feel like that estimate is a bit TOO generous lol. Also, I have not been contacted by any UC for any sort of supplemental materials… should I be worried?

Any input is fine, I think I take criticism well. But at the end of the day, I guess it’s too late to really change anything lol

Wait never mind. Just got into UCSD as a chemical engineering major (???), I’m much less worried now.

Congrats! can u give me some tips?
