Hi -

I'm applying to a few UC's and would really like to know what my chances are of getting into them are. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Here are my stats:

I know my extracurriculars are relatively weak, but I hope my GPA and test scores make up for it?

Applying to:
UCLA
UCB
UCSD
UCI
UCR

Thanks so much for your input!

This feels like deja vu...

UCLA/UCB: Match
UCSD: Safe match/safety
UCI: Safety
UCR: Super safety with safe frosting on top

haha i'm sorry. I noticed I posted this in the wrong forum last time and was only asking about UCLA so thought I'd repost to see chances of other schools.

Just wondering, with my stats as they are, how important are personal statements?

I wouldn't exactly skimp on your statements, but I think you could probably write "I don't feel like writing a personal statement" and still get into UCR with your stats.

As for the rest, just do your best. A bang-up job on your statements might help net you some good funding.

Oh of course I'm going to try and make my essays decent at least, but I just don't want them to hurt my chances.

Would leaving the additional comments box blank hurt me? I have no idea why I'm leaving this last minute....

Good GPA, strong scores (though the CR and W could be brought up), slightly weak ECs.

Berkeley: slight reach - high match
UCLA: high match
UCSD: safe match - safety
UCI/UCR: safety

Sooo i'm getting really nervous for some reason..
The applicants to UCLA/UCB all have stats similar/better than mine so ECs will have more affect on if I get in or not right? So since mine aren't too great my chances of getting into either one aren't too high huh... ahhhh

In at all UC's.
