I'm interested in applying to the following schools:
UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, USC, NYU, Boston College, Rice

UC Berkeley--Reach
UCLA--Reach
UCSD--Very Slight Reach
UCI--Match
USC--Slight Reach
NYU--Match
Boston College--Slight Reach
Rice--Match to Slight Reach

All the APs you took and the fact that your test results are okay should help a bit. The only schools above where you are "guaranteed" admission, though is UCI--and probably NYU if you don't apply for business or musical theatre--so add one or two more "matches" and "safe matches".

P.S. I'm also sure that you are misstating your UC GPA, which I estimate at about 3.8, not 3.6. My "chances" for you were based upon this fact. (Unless you took all your APs in the sophomore year, this UC GPA pretty much has to be higher than you stated here).

Get that SAT to 2100 - the UCs, while they "claim" to not be focused on SATs, are. I'm a litle more optimistic than others - how's your high school for the amount of students who go to top schools, quality of GC, etc?

Hi, thanks for the responses.
My UC GPA seems right, because the unweighted GPA I have listed is including my freshman year, but the UC GPA includes only 10th and 11th.
Yeah, there was a big dip in my grades from 9 to 10th grade.

Stanalum96: My high school is very competitive and send a lot of students to top universities. Last year, I believe 3 went to Stanford, 3 to Harvard, 2 to MIT, and like 50 to UCLA/UCB/USC.
