I'm applying to all UC's Major: Civil Engineering
Berkeley
San Diego
Los Angeles
Davis
Irvine
Santa Barbara
Santa Cruz
Riverside
Merced

I'm also considering UIUC and Georgia Tech

Please chance me!

you don’t want to apply to private schools?

Many private schools do not specialize in Civil Engineering, meaning they are actually worse than Berkeley and UIUC, the top two Civil Engineering schools. Many of the privates and ivies aren’t even top ten for Civil Engineering. So, my first choice would be Berkeley.
Chances please!

bump…

Decent shot at Berkeley and LA if you can get the SAT over 2100, SD with over 2050 and the mid tiers with over 1950 for engineering. Merced, Riverside and SC should be safe with 1800.

Dude, you know you’re so in if for all if you can get even a somewhat decent SAT score.

Okay, first off, you don’t need to take any other sat 2s, since they only require two and you already have three. Next, why take so many ap’s? Isn’t twenty a little excessive? Anyway, like what everyone else said, you need to get a good sat score, and you should have a pretty good shot at the top ucs. Best of luck.

The AP’s seem almost surreal to me. At my school having 4 will have you sleeping late, and 5 + 6 self-studying on top of that is a lot. I don’t really see the point in 6 self-studying ones unless you just want it for credit, because colleges won’t see that you are challenging yourself with 6 self-studied AP’s this year. You have a HIGH shot at all UC"s and your SAT II’s are great. Don’t take any more.
