Chances for UC's?

<p>Hey!
Was hoping I could get some feedback for my chances of getting into the UC's, as I have been getting mixed information. Im looking at UCSB and UCI as something of a match and UCB as reach. Let me know if im way off!</p>

<p>Allow myself to introduce myself...
In state
Acad GPA Weighted: 3.84
SAT: 1930 (Reading 720, Math: 530, Writing 680) I just took it my 3rd time, so hopefully I got math up a bit more
SAT Subject Tests:
610 Literature
560 Mathematics Level 2
650 U.S. History
ACT: 26
Not much community service
Lots of band EC's and currently Band President.</p>

<p>Another quick question:
Im applying as an English major, will they look favorably at my Sat reading and the fact that i've had straight A's in all my English classes? Perhaps they simply look at my GPA with no relation to major?</p>

<p>What is your uw GPA and, ideally, your UC GPA? Also, what is your class rank or approximate decile? A really good website for UC applicants is called stat finder. You should check it out. Link listed below:</p>

My class rank is 136 out of 698.
My UW is 3.68, and im not sure how to find my UC.</p>

<p>Yea, you have a really low uc gpa. I think that all of the uc’s are a reach except for santa cruz, riverside, merced. you should still apply, who knows what could happen.</p>

<p>UCSB and UCI are matches, your gpa is a bit lower, but your sat is a bit higher than the average</p>
