Chances for UCSC?

Just wondering, Its either this or I might as well take community college, and transfer, I suck at SATs.

GPA - 3.6W (Top 20% i believe)
SAT - 1460 US History 640 Bio 520 (I'm going to retake but honestly I dont see myself improving much)

ECs
2 entire summers of volunteer work at a recreational summer camp
1 year of working as a Recreational/Camp Counselor
Officer of my Health/Bio Med Fitness School Learning Center
CSF Member
Interact Club Member (50+ Volunteer work hours or something)
Link Crew Member (help 9th graders assimilate into high school)

I plan to write my personal essay about my how I used to be a camper and my experience of volunteering for 2 years then becoming an official counselor and how I helped my old best friend from summer camp overcome his troubles with drugs and alcohol by offering him a volunteer spot and helping him get clean. (No bull all honesty)

I really hope my grades, personal essay, and my ECs help me land a spot because I look at everyone on here and they have outstanding SATs, even I would be happy with at least a 1600, but I think my 1460 will kill my chances at most UCs. Idk how are my chances?

Hmm i dont know man. It’s true your 1460 SAT will kill your chances at UCs.

It’s tough to say with those SAT scores…

Have you taken the ACT?

Maybe that’s more your thing? It wouldn’t hurt to try it.

My friend got into UC Davis with a 1460, so you never know…
