mcgunis:

UCLA: Match
UCB: Match
UCSD: Safe Match

mcgunis' friend:

UCLA: Match
UCB: Match
UCSD: Safe Match
Johns Hopkins: Slight Reach

you: UCLA and below, Match. UCB reach. dont retake bioSATII, 780 is freaking high. only retake 780's if its IIC, besides.. you'll probably forget most material and do worse.

friend: UCB Match, Hopkins slight reach.

You and your friend are probably most likely in at the UC's (all of them). For your friend, Johns Hopkins is probably a slight reach as someone already said, but decent shot.

Your UC Gpa figures to be 3.8-3.9, as very few sophmore honors classes are given the extra grade point (only one that comes to mind is world history), and AP classes get only one extra grade point in the a-g system.

It looks like you did plenty of EC's for the UC's (UCSD for example caps their volunteer work credit at 300 hours over a 2 year period), and with your SATII's you have a very good chance at SD. Your gpa might hurt you for LA, however.

whats number one high school?

mines numbe 2 oxford academy also public

is it whitney?

nope its mission san jose high

1 public as in if you go there or not is based purely on where you live, not on test scores or IQ or anything. other schools like whitney are magnet and are ranked higher
