I'm going into my senior year. I live in Florida and UF is my dream school at the moment, because I have Florida Pre-Paid and there is no way I can afford to go out of state. I'm also considering applying to Cooper Union for Architecture. I know it's a HUGE reach, so I'd like to know if it's even worth applying. I should also mention that I went abroad for Junior year and it really messed me up GPA wise (also because I was dropped from English 3 online, which I am making up this year), but I piled on the AP and Dual Enrollment courses for this year so my GPA so go by the end of the first quarter when I send my grades to FL schools, and up again by the time I would send them to Cooper Union in January.

Also I am applying for Summer B @ FL Schools, because it is statistically easier to get in, and I think it would be a good experience.
What do you think my chances are for UF, Cooper Union, and other FL schools (FSU, UCF, USF)?

GPA
Weighted - 4.3 (4.5 when failed credit is made up)

I know my weakness would definitely be that I don't have too much volunteer stuff yet (only like 30 hours), no legitimate leadership positions because I wasn't around when you run for them, and no clubs.
I also have a misdemeanor from when I was 14 on record that I had to explain on the app (though I think I explained it well and wrote about how I learned from it), but that's making me super nervous. I know I have to include it,... anyone know how big of a deal that is when they look at the apps?
