bump, bump, bump

Well I know for FSU you have to have a minimum 500 on each section so maybe that was the reason you were deferred. As for UF, their standards/requirements are slightly higher than FSU so if you don’t take action now before their letters come out in Feb, you might be deferred there as well. The best advice I can give you is to retake the ACT and study really hard so you can make a better score which will help push you over the top because everything else seems great. I know you can do it, Good Luck! :)

how is your class rank so high but your SAT scores so low? something’s not right there.

gansta: have you not heard of someone not testing well on standardized testing?! Plus i go to a REALLLLY urban school.

bump bump bump

You’re going to have to get your test scores up. Get a book and practice! Other than those scores you’d be fine but you don’t have a shot with them.

really? okay, well I took one last time and i find out my scores in a few hours, so we’ll see what happens with those…
did you apply there AHM1245?

took it one more time*

Oh and thank you fsubound ((:

No problem, and congrats on your other acceptances!

Congrats on your acceptances.
I also was accepted into FSU and UCF! :)

However, regarding UF, it’s a much more selective school (it is a Public Ivy). Your grades and extracurriculars are on spot. However, try and rise your SAT and ACT scores. I know that not everyone is a good test taker (I’m not that good myself), but with a selective and competitve school like UF, that receives a TON of applicants, the SAT/ACT plays a critical role.

You can always visit their website to check their median score ranges to know exactly where you fall and your chances of being accepted.

Best of luck!

I just raised my Math score to a 510!!!

& thanks anthony!!!

Yes I applied to FSU (accepted) and UF. Both schools are all about numbers so having the scores is really important to them

Yeah I’m hoping the 30 point boost gets me up there!
thanks for all your help (:

…

someone else chance me! I’ll chance back!
