<p>Honest opinions please. I know the SAT is low, but what about the others? thanks in advance.</p>

<p>i honestly think the sat is low. But you do not know what they are looking for- so write great essays and go for it!</p>

<p>Is that SAT out of 2400? If so, you probably won’t even get into UGA let alone UGA Honors. If it’s out of 1600 then there is a chance.</p>

<p>Your AP/IB class is superb, but GPA is not standardized. Scores may be higher if you took even a certain teacher at a certain time. SAT is usually given more weight for colleges. I would say finish your application and see what happens. You never know!</p>

@halcy, i got 2100 on SATs. But honors look at M+CR which was 1390. I’m already admitted into UGA when i did ED though. Thanks for your advice! I’ll get on those essays!</p>

<p>Your SAT is a little low, but essays really do count for honors. </p>

<p>Do you know how important the essays are for honors? My SAT score is a low for honors, 25th percentile. On the other hand, my GPA a little higher than the average.</p>

<p>Hey! I was auto-admitted for honors with a 2130. However, I have a really high gpa and a ton of EC’s, including academic summer programs and dual enrollment. Both of you statistically look like you could be accepted, so I guess it will all come down to essays. Good luck (:</p>
