Hi everyone,

I'm currently a community college student in Illinois. I have a 3.93 GPA and will be applying to UIUC for the spring semester as a CS major. I have met most of the requirements, except I still need 2 physics courses. However, I will have under 60 credit hours, so I should only need to meet sophomore transfer requirements. I do not have many extra curriculars, but I have been working for a small property management company managing databases and other IT related tasks.

Also, I was wondering if it would be a good choice to submit my ACT scores when I apply. Since I have over 30 hours of transferable credit, I am not required to send ACT scores. It does say on UIUC's website that they highly recommend that I do anyway. My issue is that although I have a 31 composite score with a 33 in science, my math score was a bit lower, 27 to be exact. What would you suggest? And what do you think my chances of being accepted are?
