Chances for UIUC Engineering with lowish test scores?

Hello, I'm a senior in high school applying to colleges, and currently UIUC is my top choice college. I'm worried because I don't have super high test scores, no spectacular extracurriculars/GPA to make up for it. What are my chances of getting into the college of engineering and the undeclared college?
SAT: Total composite-1900 Cr/Math composite- 1300 CR-640 Math-660 Writing-600
ACT: Composite-29 English-34 Math-28 Reading-30 Science-25
GPA: W-3.952 UW-3.583
Rank: 41/310 (13%)
Extracurriculars: private flute lessons all 4 yrs
Local youth orchestra 10 & 11th grade

Coursework: Mostly honors/AP
AP Psych
AP language/comp
AP US government
AP literature/comp
All othe core classes were honors except I took regular American history rather than APUSH because there was no honors
Also, I'm taking an engineering elective my senior year

Sorry for the wall of text, but I'm quite worried. So if you have made it this far, thank you for reading and even more thanks if you reply!!

In addition, I’m Chinese, so I feel like that would hurt me even more with my app not being as good as other asians

That will be a reach for Engineering at UIUC. Have you looked at other engineering schools with slightly lower requirements? Any interest in other majors since you seem to have an interest/aptitude for English?

I’m really only interested in going into a STEM field. Other schools I’m applying to are:
Ohio State University
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Worcester Polytechnic Institute
Case Western Reserve
University of Michigan

I’m not sure how their requirements measure up to UIUC as well as their campuses in general because I haven’t found a breakdown of their requirements by colleges.

The only one of those I know about is U of M, and they are tough to get into for engineering. Maybe the others are a better match? Have you tried contacting someone from their engineering departments to get an idea on average stats for incoming freshmen?

Both UIUC and Umich engineering would be reach for you. The mid 50 ACT is 31-34 and avg GPA is 3.9.

UIUC is definitely a reach. Their mid range for SAT is 1370(CR + Math) i think. I think u should apply to Purdue. It would be a match with ur stats.

Thank you guys for your replies! I’m now looking to apply to more colleges that may be a better match for my stats. Any recommendations of colleges on par with Purdue that have decent engineering programs?

If the application fee isn’t too much (and if the deadline hasn’t passed yet), then why not apply to UIUC anyways - you might get in. It might be hard, but universities are reviewing people more holistically nowadays, so why not apply?

There is an organization for women engineers and I would try to contact them to see if they could offer assistance.
