Essays: Just assume decent/average for the sake of this chance.

Other: Suffered from mild depression soph/junior year from death of greatgrandmother + failing kidneys of my greatgrandfather, who was a civil engineer for the city of San Francisco and inspired me to pursue a STEM major. Dropped my grades, esp in math but tried hard to recover.

Haha!! Not another chances post just before decision day!!

You’ve done the best you can!!
You don’t want people here coming and telling you’ll get in & then end up not getting in!

I would’ve let this thread die down, but just cautioning you!!

My advice, try to keep your mind off decisions! Chill, relax and be patient – You’ve waited this long, might as well wait another 2 days!!

Latitude123 I think you have a good chance of getting into UIUC. Your high ACT Science score evens out the low Math score. GPA might be on the lower end, but all the AP’s you have taken really show that you have challenged yourself with the toughest courses possible. Good luck with your decision on Friday.
