Chances for UK schools?

Hello, I'm a US junior interested in applying to several UK schools next year. I'm going to post on the Student Room too at some point, but I figured some people on this forum may have experience with UK admissions.

Chances for these schools - Edinburgh, Manchester, Durham, and Exeter. I am applying for Arab and Islamic studies.

SAT I - CR 710
W 760
M 610

SAT IIs (predicted) - Spanish (740), World History (730)

GPA - 3.8ish UW, my school does not weigh GPA. My grades are strong, showing all-around success except for a C in AP Bio freshman year.

APs -
Freshman year APs - AP Human geo (5), AP Government and Politics (5), AP Psychology (4), AP Art History (3) (I think I will have my GC mention that I took the class/exam as a freshman)

Junior year APs (I'm predicting my results here, please chance me assuming that I obtain these results) - AP Spanish Lit (5), AP World History (5), AP Euro (5), AP English Lit (4 or 5), AP Comp Gov (5).

I'm not sure what I'll be taking/doing during my senior year because I may choose to graduate a semester early - please chance me using this given information.

As far as relevant ECs go, I studied abroad for a summer on a scholarship to a predominantly Muslim country and received a full scholarship to study abroad for a year in South America. Upon my return, I have been teaching Spanish to elementary school students. I participated in a StarTalk program for Chinese, and have managed to reach a reasonable proficiency in Portuguese through self-study. While most of these activities are not directly related to Arabic, I will mention them in my PS in order to indicate my language experience/passion for language and cultural learning.

Thank you so much! I don't have any experience with the UK system so I really appreciate any insights y'all can give.

First of all, GPA doesn’t matter for UK schools (with a few exceptions, but I believe that none of your schools fall within that exception category). So don’t worry about the C. Make sure your SAT IIs and APs are what you predict them to be, they’re especially important. Make sure you write a good PS and you can go to The Student Room if you need help with writing that. If you manage to accomplish that, you should get unconditionals at all your schools. I am firm on this because they put up entry requirements on their website, and with UK schools, the general rule is if you meet those requirements you’re likely to get in, so it’s much more certain and different than the US system. Make sure to show your love for your stated subject, and you should be brilliant.

I’ve just been accepted to Durham this year as well from the US so if you do need any assistance feel free to ask.

@ssswims Wonderful, thank you so much - I really appreciate your input as someone who’s gone through this process. Did you use all five of your spots on the UCAS app?

No problem. I did use all 5 spots: I applied to Oxford, UCL, LSE, KCL, and Durham through UCAS and to St. Andrews by Common App.
