Chances for UMASS Amherst, Quinnipiac, UCONN?

Hey! First post hype!

So I'm a rising senior at a private school in MA, hoping to major in nursing. So far, I only have the above three schools that I'm interested in. If you could chance me, I'd really appreciate it. I will chance back if you link your post. Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.3 unweighted, honors and pre-AP courses. Slight upward trend. One C due to a bad teacher-the average for her classes was a D+, and my GC will explain this in my recommendation.

SAT I: 720 CR, 630 M, 690 W

EC's: Student Council (9-10) SADD (10-11) Christ's Closet (free clothing store, 9-10) Part time job (paid for my tuition since grade 9).

Volunteer hours: well over 300.

My intended major is nursing.

So, do I have a shot? Any other schools I should look into?

Thank you so much, I appreciate the time you took to read this!

UMass Amherst: Low match
Quinnipiac: Safety
UConn: Low match

Can you afford BU?

In no way, shape, or form, haha. I wasn’t even aware they had a nursing program. Sorry if this is a stupid question-does ‘low match’ mean I’m likely to get in?

But can you afford Northeastern instead?

UConn: Low match/Match

A low match means that you have a good chance to get into a school

I can’t afford it outright, no. Is it worth applying? Their mean GPA is pretty high

your gonna get into all these schools with ease

Thank you!

All these schools are low matches for you. Your GPA/D+ might not be so bad, above average SAT score, and ECs will keep you competitive. I’m sure you’ll get into 2 of the 3 for sure, only because I’m unsure how big of a red flag a D+ can be. Good Luck.

Thanks for the chance! My average for her class was a C+, but the average of all her students in that class was a D+. Sorry for the confusion!
