It seems that I inadvertently overloaded myself with school during my Junior year, which I've been told by my councilor is your most important year. My GPA for semester 1 is about 3.7, with a previous overall GPA of 3.799. I was wondering if there is any chance that I could get accepted to Umich?

My Junior class schedule is:
- Physics - A
- AP European History - A
- AP Literature and Composition - A
- AP Chemistry - B ()
- Honors Trig and Pre-Calc -B (*)
- AP Biology - A

I'm taking the ACT in February, and not planning on taking the SAT because I live instate. My Sophomore PSAT was a 198, my Junior PSAT was less than spectacular, I just wasn't prepared to take the test that day.

- Hardest class in the school, there is only one senior who has been accepted to Umich and she has a C+. Grades are highly variable, forgetting to triple bond the nitrogen can drop your letter grade a whole letter.
** - Two A-'s for the first two terms, a little mess up landed me a temporary B semester grade. Hoping to get this up to at least a B+.

So what does everyone think my chances are? My 2nd Semester grade should pick up radically as I now longer have work to worry about like I did the first semester. Hoping for a 32 ACT!
