Can you list your section scores? For CoE at Umich, they will look at your Math score as well. Anyway, it is likely a math for you from in-state.

Plan on going to UMich, much better cost to reputation ratio than the other two. If you come from a low income situation than Northwestern would be in play also.

If you were my kid, I’d figure out a way to make UMich Engineering happen. It has a global reputation and in state tuition even with zero merit aid is a steal. If you can’t get in the ‘front door’ by applying and being accepted into the engineering program find a side door - possibly start out at a branch. I even know someone who got into a competitive grad program by enrolling as a continuing education student and working his way into the program by signing up for the classes and meeting the professors. Where there’s a will there is a way.

I got 790 on Math and 710 on Reading

Then UMich should be a good match from you from in state. The in state admission rate is around 45 percent and you are above average applicant.

@billcsho Thanks, I just wanted to make sure i can get into the College of Engineering which from what I heard is a little harder to get into than LSA.

It is slightly harder, but your should be fine. I do know an in state student got rejected by Umich with GPA 3.8 and ACT 33 though. Your GPA is above 3.97 (UMich recalculated) so it is around 75th percentile while your test score is above admission average.
