PS: what does bump mean?! lol

First of all, have you checked the NPC of these schools. OOS public colleges are very expensive and you wil need to pay the full cost at most OOS colleges. Second, you do need to bring your test score higher for UMich which is currently a reach for you. UIUC would depend on your major.

Umich and ND are reaches. I think you have a solid chance at all the other ones!

@dmb3509 Hi! I also intend to major in meteorology (probably the best major ever  ). As @billcsho says, your ACT and SAT scores will probably need to be higher for UMich or ND. However, your GPA is will definitely set you ahead of others. More important than both your GPA and test scores are the essays you write to these schools.

If you are serious about meteorology, check out the websites in the links below. I find their rankings on meteorology schools fairly accurate.

*If you like the liberal arts feel of your current school, I recommend Valparaiso University. They specialize in meteorology, are a small/medium sized college, and offer tremendous scholarships (I’ve earned $104,000 toward Valparaiso).

**Bumping a thread changes the date that the thread was last active (makes the thread appear more often in searches related to the thread topic).

Looks like you’ll get into all except Notre Dame, though that’s a maybe.

Wow thank you so much haha! I will definitely look into Valparaiso University!! Also great job on earning all of those scholarships!! @TheWeatherman

Oh ok thank you! Just you saying that made me so much more hopeful haha @gklfajg

Omg thank you so much! @vicky268
