Chances for UNC and others?

Hi, so I'm going to be a senior this fall.

My GPA right now is about a 3.8 weighted. I take mostly honors classes with a couple AP and one or two reg class thrown in.

My class rank is about 105 out of 350, but my school is insanely competitive-- one B in your whole HS career and you are out of the top 25. The top 50 kids take all AP and get mostly A's always. I don't think class rank is a good indicator of my skills

Freshman and sophomore year I took all honors and got mostly straight B's with an A or C thrown in here and there. This year I took 2 APs and 1 reg and the rest honors and I got straight A's both semesters.

I was a mess the first two years and didn't do very well but I've had a huge improvement.

My extra curriculars are

Soccer (JV)

Tennis (Varsity)

Marching Band

Jazz Band

Academic Team (AKA scholastic bowl, Quiz Bowl)

Tri-M (music Honor Society- had to audition)

I also volunteered over 100 hours at Save-A-Pet

The schools I want to go get into but know are probably out of my range are

UNC-Chapel hill (I am out of state and they have to have like 82% from in state)

Washington University At St. Louis

Rice University

Thanks for chancing me and probably just confirming that these schools are out of my reach

Yeah, these schools are all reaches. I’d do more ECs and volunteering to make up for your GPA
