Chances for UNC Chapel Hill? In state

Hi all,

I am new to the site (hope I’m doing this right, haha), and I was wondering what my chances are of getting into UNC. I am in the top 9% of my class (out of 698 students), and my school is generally really competitive. I applied to major in biology.

I am currently a high school senior in Wake County and I applied early action for UNC.

GPA: 3.9 unweighted, 4.44 weighted, and 3.55 for Wake Tech dual enrollment classes

4 AP classes: (European History, United States History, Environmental Science, and US Government).

12 Dual Enrollment Classes: (General Biology 1 and 2, Precalc Algebra, English 111/112, American Literature, World Civilizations, Art Appreciation). In addition to these classes, I am taking 2 of these spring 2021 semester (Precalc trigonometry and Sociology) and 2 of these during summer (Calculus 1 and General Chem 1). I will hopefully be able to obtain my bachelor’s in 2.5 years.

Extracurriculars/ Volunteering: 3 years varsity swimming, president of 1 club, apart of SNHS, volunteered 35 hours at UNC Rex hospital apart of the VolunTEEN program, dual enrollment, worked as a manager for 2 years.

I am choosing not to submit my ACT score because I got a 29, which isn’t great for UNC. Any help at calculating my chances is much appreciated:).

Good solid chance.

Is a 29 not a good ACT score for UNC?

From what I’ve read, its not bad at all but it is on the lower end of average scores for UNC. I chose not to submit mine just to play it safe.
