Chances for UNC Chapel Hill

I'm a junior in high school right now and I've been stressing over my chances of getting into my dream school, Chapel Hill. I'm new, so if I'm missing anything I'm sorry. here goes:

GPA and Grades
weighted: 4.5 unweighted: 4.0
I did not take very rigorous classes freshman and Sophmore year, but I did maintain A's in all of them. I'm in the top 12 percent of my class as of the end of first semester which I'm anticipating will go up after my 3 APs from this year are taken into account. I plan to finish high school with 5 APs. I have not taken any CP classes since sophomore year

ECs
School: Chinese club, BETA Club for 2 years, New Global Citizens Club, Student Council for 2 years (planning on running for officer position at the end of this year for next year), I did not make it into NHS this year but I am applying again and hoping to get in... I also want to start a Biology Honors Club at our school since we have Honors clubs for French, Math, etc., but. I science. I also plan to graduate with NC and Global Scholar merits.
Outside of School: peer minister for 3 years (which is basically leading a youth group at my church), involved with town event organization and photography of events, I plan on getting an internship at the emergency hospital down the street this summer.

My recommendation letters will come from my AP bio teacher who I've had for 3 years and the commissioner of my town if that matters

Tests
SAT: I've taken it once which was in March with not much prep and the ACT was the same week, but I am taking it again in June
Reading- 660 Math (always my worst subject)- 560 Writing- 640 for a total of 1860
ACT: took it once as mandatory for my school, I prefer the SAT so I do not plan on taking it again
I can't find my score report right now but my total was a 28

I am also in-state

So based on this which I know is kind of vague, do you think I have a chance of getting in? Please be brutally honest because this is my dream school and I don't want to be let down later haha

UNC: High match

You’re GPA is pretty good; if you work on your SAT a little more you should have a great chance.

If you study for the SATs, you should be able to raise your scores.

I got into UNC with a weighted 4.3 GPA/ unweighted 3.88 GPA. I have a 1710 SAT score and I am also in-state. I played three sports in high school, I was active in my church and participated in a few school clubs leading two of them. No, I’m not going to be a collegiate athlete either. You have a really good chance in my opinion. Higher SAT’s can do nothing, but strengthen your chances, but don’t get caught up in thinking it’s all about the numbers. Your stats are important, but they are only one part. Being able to show you can articulate and you are well-rounded it what counts. Don’t let people up here scare you, UNC is a match for you! Good luck.

Getting into UNC-CH from in-state is much easier than out-of-state, so it’s a match.

On that same note, is it a similar situation for all public schools? Because i’ve heard different things, many have said it is easier to get into UCLA OOS because of full tuition.

@Knockaround:

I’m not sure how California does things, but many states regulate how many out-of-state students a state school can admit. This makes getting into public schools from out-of-state generally more difficult. Perhaps CA has a different policy; you could probably find it online.

Alright, thank you.

@Knockaround:

Oh, I just found something online about it. You may have already found this, but here you go: [University of California: University of California enrolls more out-of-state freshmen - Los Angeles Times](University of California enrolls more out-of-state freshmen)

This is great, thank you so much.

Easy in. You will be fine.
