What are my daughter's chances for Regular Decision at the Schools listed?

Very strong for all the schools. W&M, Wake, and Dartmouth are all very similar in size and scope. UVirginia is 3x as large, kind of an anomaly in the group.

UVirginia- in
Wake-in
W&M- probably
Dartmouth- maybe, solely based on numbers applying

Does it matter if she applied undecided to these schools?

Your daughter should get into Wake. Dartmouth is an Ivy, so it’s a crapshoot. As for UVA and W & M, her stats and other activities should be good enough to get her into both, but the numbers may not favor her. Virginia schools must hold in state rates of at least 67 percent. With such a high number of apps at UVA, it could be tough to gain admission.

She applied to Cornell and BC, but the others are her first choice–What do you think of her chances are with these two?

Chances
Dartmouth: 20%
Cornell: 30%
UVA: 55%
BC: 60%
Wake: 70%
W&M: 70%

I heard about a strong candidate, in-state Virginia, from my daughter’s school that was accepted at Cornell, and at a competitive 8 year undergrad/med school program (not sure of the school), but was rejected by William and Mary.
