Chances for undergraduate EECS admissions

Does anyone have info on what it takes to be accepted in the undergraduate EECS major for in-state and out-of-state hopefuls?

UC GPA: 3.96 (All A's in math/sci courses, some Bs' in history, french, english)
Sat I: 760/760/720 (M/R/W)
Sat II: 800/770/720 (2C/Phy/Hist)
APs':AP Calc(5), AP Comp Sci (4), AP World Hist (5), AP US Hist (4)
Senior year AP classes: Physics, Bio, Statistics, Economics, French, US Govt
EC: Piano, cultural club at school, hospital volunteering
Other: 2 full-time Summer internships at High Tech companies

Should I hope to get in? Thanks in advance for sharing.

That low UC GPA will definitely hurt your chances. Are you in-state or out of state?

EECS is the hardest major to get into....and your GPA seems to be "average" for this particular major....just wait to see what happens....UC Admissions (especially UCLA) are so unpredictable. However, Berkeley seems to be more fair than UCLA.

EECS admit rate was <13% 4 years ago.

I'm in-state. The weighted GPA in all math and science classes is 4.5. But the Bs' in History, French, and English weigh them down to 3.96. I have no Cs' nonetheless and even occasional As' in these subjects. Is it true that Berkely EECS may not care much for all As' in non math/science subjects?

i think so b/c im am like u
i have all As in math and science yet Bs in french, history and english...#%?#$^^
4.0Weighted gpa
well, i got into ucla for engneering...but cal is alot better

I don't know... in state maybe, oos probably not... i have similar stats, better GPA worse SAT score. If you played those internships well those will probably be the tipping factor, since your other ECs are pretty average
