<p>Hi I'm a senior at a competitive MD high school and want to know my estimated chances for UMD. I'm hoping to get in for fall semester and would even attend if accepted for spring semester.</p>
<p>Here are my stats:
Applied Early Action
Asian
Unweighted GPA: 3.33
Weighted GPA: 3.79
SAT: 1940 (690 math, 660 writing, 590 reading) but UMD doesn't look at writing..
Took mostly honors classes and 3 AP's.</p>
<p>Great trend, my GPA has gotten much better since 9th grade.</p>
<p>My resume is pretty strong in my opinion. Here it is:</p>

<p>Vice president of 2 clubs (ping pong club and Muslim student association)
Volunteer coordinator for county charity
Worked with county council politicians to get Muslim holiday recognized as a school holiday.
Started project to maintain a local road by using the county's adopt a road program.
Started my own food drive where we collected 1,200 pounds of food.
Earned volunteer award for over 260 community service hours.
Raised money to give solar-powered study lamps to girls schools in Pakistan</p>
<p>Summer intern at NASA! Currently a medical intern at a local hospital.
Also worked for a website last year and did private tutoring over the summer.
Enrolled in the Academy of Information Technology at my school.</p>
<p>JV Spring Track Team 9th and 10th grade.
Member in a few other clubs but had no positions.
Competed in University of MD math competition and scholastic bowl competition at UMD
Attended a conference at the white house and a few others in DC.
Social Studies Honors Society</p>
