Honestly, if I were you I wouldn’t worry too much about this. Your GPA definitely isn’t a deal breaker. Your ACT score is above U of M’s average, and your EC’s look very good. Here are some tips to get in (btw I live in Michigan and have many friends in AA): Apply early, which I see you are already doing with the Early Action. Write good essays!! Remember, GPAs and standardized test scores are rarely deal breakers, but when you look like an idiot with your essays, you’re really in trouble. If you know someone in a good college, email them your essay and have them proofread it.

Other than that you should be fine. Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the good advice, kevin1! Hopefully you’re right!

Bump.
I could use some more advice. Someone please, I’m a wreck!

University of Michigan (EA) : mid, maybe high reach (GPA is stressed in Michigan)
Michigan State (EA) : In
Northwestern University : Really high reach
Loyola University Chicago : In
De Paul University : In
University of Illinois Chicago : Most likely in (can go either way)

Anyone else have some more input?
