<p>I would love to get into University of Richmond and Rhodes College. What are my chances?</p>

<p>GPA (Unweighted): 3.810</p>

<p>SAT: 1750 (Math: 580, Reading: 620, Writing: 550)</p>

<p>My school doesn't offer AP courses, but I do take English Honors, Advanced Bio, Advanced Chem, Adv. Math, 3 years of Spanish</p>

<p>I just listed a few of my noteworthy classes, but I can list all my other sciences/humanities/arts/electives as well.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Basketball, Tennis, Track, Theater (3 years)
Junior Class Officer,
Senior Class Officer,
Proctor (Leadership position),
School Tour Guide,
Honor Council,
School Newspaper,
Mock United Nations Meeting (Sophomore year),
member of Environmental Club</p>

<p>Community service/other stuff:
Help teach kids to learn to read at local elementary school
Camp counselor (2 years during summer)
Tutoring
I've worked for a nursery every summer since I was in the 8th grade
I work Sundays at a Farmer's Market during the year
Big Brother/Big sister (2 years)</p>

<p>I have wonderful recommendations and I'm a very good essay writer. I want to get my SAT scores up a little more before I apply.
What do you think my chances are? Thank you!</p>

<p>Also, if you have any other college suggestions for me, please inform me!
I'm a very liberal minded student so please keep that in mind. Do Rhodes and UR attract liberal minded students?</p>

<p>I would say University of Richmond would be a low reach, but if you got that SAT up to 2000+ or took the ACT for around a 30 score, you would get in.</p>

<p>A low reach? Meaning it’s not completely out of my league?</p>

<p>My SAT score seems to be the only thing bringing me down.</p>
