Hey guys, here's my shameless chance me thread...

GPA: 4.0 unweighted, salutatorian out of 300
SAT I :2320 (770 CR, 750 M, 800 W)
SAT IIs: 800 US History, 770 Bio, 690 Math I

ECs: Debate Team 3 years, Jazz Band 3 years, French Tutoring 4 years, working at Chinese Restaurant 3 years, National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, bassist in Church band, various volunteer work (not very good, I know).

At Rochester, I did the interview (went really well) and I received the Bausch and Lomb High School Award. Recommendations are good, essays are pretty good imo, no hooks

I plan on engineering at either school. If anyone replies, I'll appreciate it and chance back if applicable.

Your ECs aren’t great, but they are enough. You aren’t shut up in your room all day studying. As an applicant with stats like yours, you just have to prove you have a life to get into schools like these two. I’d say match for the both of them.

Anyone at or familiar with these schools?
If it matters, I got 5s in APELC, APUSH, and AP Bio last year and I’m in AB Calc, AP Psych, and AP Lit this year.

As long as you didn’t screw up the teacher recommendations/essay, you should definitely get into both of them.
Rochester: 99% sure
Northeastern: 80% sure

@eckmy326 At this point, it’s probably northeastern or umass amherst honors college. Rochester just had a massive price increase, and neu has yet to announce costs for next year. I’ll have to talk it over with my parents as neu is my favorite, but it all depends on finances.
