Im currently an Engineer at Virginia Tech and have a younger brother who is a sophomore in the honors program at my old high school. I was curious as to the stats that a successful applicant must have (out-of-state...from Maryland) in order to be accepted to University of Tennessee Knoxville.
-As of right now, he has a 3.2 GPA in high school and is taking honors classes. -He recently got back his PSAT and got a 1010.
-He has been on the varsity soccer team for the past two years, Swim Team, and Church volunteering.

Does he seem like he's on the right track for being accepted? I know that the UT-Knoxville is not hard to get into...but I would just like to have an idea whether or not he's on the right track--and if out-of-state applicants must have higher stats than instate to get in. Let me know what you guys think...I would greatly appreciate it.
