Hi,
Been a long time reader but first time posting.

So here's the run down. I have always wanted to go to the University of Michigan, however, as you will read soon, my grades aren't necessarily up to par. It isn't that I am smart enough however I maybe don't always put my best effort forth. Also I can afford it and my dad is an Alumni at UofM.

So my question to all of you is, do I have ANY chance of getting into UofM or should I go for more of a Michigan State type of school. Also, I am highly considering maybe going to a school in Europe if I don't get in (Uppsala to be specific). Any opinions on that would be helpful as well.
