man, you’re absolutely delusional… 2100 is very low for making Penn your safety. Both are very high reaches for you. Having an IQ of 138 has nothing to do with college admissions. Unless you’re in a program for being exceptionally gifted, having an obscure IQ test done by a family member is laughable. As mentioned by those before me being Asian is definitely not a hook, especially for schools like MIT where Asians are an overrepresented minority. You would have to get a much higher score on your SAT’s to balance out your low gpa and class ranking. You’re best hope, however, is to write a seriously phenomenal essay because your stats simply don’t cut it. My stats aren’t much higher than yours but realistically I don’t think I’m anywhere near making it into those schools. You should seriously reconsider your choice of safety.

I don’t want to rub salt into an open wound but lower your expectations. Low GPA (for MIT when i say that), decent EC’s, and a low MIT SAT score do not help. Also being Asian is like taking something off the current GPA and lowering your SAT by 200 points and then applying as Caucasian. You will need to write a kicka$$ essay for any chance of getting in. Penn is a close one but I’ll give you high match/ low-mid reach.

Probably a ■■■■■. Asian = hook, UPenn = safety with a 2100? Nice.

Not very good. Top 20% out of such a small class? Your SAT scores aren’t that great either. You’d be surprised how competitive both those schools are. MIT, you don’t stand ANY chance, Upenn I would put your chances at around 25% provided you have great essays.

not a chance.

I’ll be VERY VERY surprised if you get into either MIT or UPenn to be honest.

I agree with almost everyone one here, both are ubber-reaches for you, i would highly advise you to apply to some matches and SAFETIES- meaning 100% admission chance.
Your class rank is not good, gpa is not good, class rigor not good, ec not good. This is for these schools you are applying to, SAT also not good. Also, um you iq is NOT going to matter in college application at all, if that is the case i have a friend with a iq of 168 i don’t see him applying to harvard etc, mine is 145, i wish to go to UNC-CH.
