I really want to increase my chances at this school. Should I apply to Nursing or CAS?

someone please respond!

Besides GPA being low, everything else looks great. If UPenn overlooks the GPA, you should have no problem getting into either school. SAT and ECs are great.

Your scores are good, ECs are OK, but your GPA and your ORM status will work against you.

The CAS v. Nursing question comes down to if you want to be a nurse.

yea I was just wondering cause i heard the nursing school is easier to get into.

The GPA is a little bit low, but that isn’t the most important component. If you really, really want to get in I’ll give you a secret. The essays. The essays are far the most critical component. They need to be direct, concise, and need to explain why you have a pressing need to attend. Make sure you focus all your energy on both, particularly on the supplement. It’s all about the essays. I’m sure many of us will agree on this. Good luck!
