SAT II isn’t necessary at all. They want to see you take and AP class in your language OR send in a 700+ in SAT, preferably both. In fact, they don’t even really care for SAT II when it comes to
Asian languages, cause they know how screwed up the curve is for non-natives. If you’re taking AP Chinese, you should be good on the language front.
@thebly totally agree with the curves. some of my Asian friends literally take sat 2 of their languages for fun and experience. and @Tennisplayer3423 your profile really seems good but do try to get a higher score for chinese but since there are too many natives/half-natives taking them, maybe try HSK. this one is also wayyy more useful if you decide to do exchange programs in china etc.
