Chance back!!!

Bump, I’ll chance back anyone

Bumppppppp

You have a good shot I think  although it’s hard to know. Have you tea the actual results featured thread? I found it really helpful. Chance back?

Oh and what about your recommendations? Are you thinking they’ll be good?

You need a higher SAT and ACT for some of those schools.

With that said, all other fronts look good. Awesome GPA, and your extracurriculars look great. I, too, am in debate (albeit a different type), and you seem as dedicated to it as I am. Super passionate extracurriculars that one does well in will always look better than multiple extracurriculars. Again, just the scores are low. Generally, for the Ivies and Ivy-levels, a 33 or 2200 are the bare minimum. I’d put your chances as:

U Penn: Reach
U Chicago: Reach
Stanford: Reach
Dartmouth: Reach
UCB: Low Reach
Rice: Low Reach
Northwestern: Reach
NYU: Match

Do pick more matches than just NYU; it will be helpful, in case you get a full round of rejections. I’d assume you’d be accepted to at least one, but that it by no means assured. For U Chicago, the essays are of extreme importance. But as a debater, I can be confident that you are eloquent, so the essays should come naturally. Also, if you have multiple ACT test dates, U Chicago does superscore.

Your EC is good and so is your GPA too. Don’t worry about course load if that is your school’s policy. Anyway, it seems you did some self-study AP. Nevertheless, your test scores are a bit low for these top schools. You may want to raise your ACT and/or SAT1+SAT2 for better chance. Right now, they are mostly reach for you.
