Your background is terrific and I feel confident in saying you will end up at a top tier university. I think you are as much in contention as anyone for UPenn Wharton.

If there are any other reaches you like, and feel could be a good fit, I would suggest taking another couple of shots at top universities.

You look to be a competitive applicant but it is impossible to chance for a school with such a low (under 10%) acceptance rate – there will be more very well qualified applicants than spots available.

Good luck.

I think you are wonderful. In the awards you’ll want to quantify. Ap scholar with distinction doesn’t mean much…you earn it based on # of ap but perhaps one of your other was for something special that not all get. If so, define what it is quantitatively.

I assume UT is a safety but maybe not the b school ?? You know much if UF business is on line ??

I agree throw in some more reaches - a WUSTL,Rice, etc and maybe a few full rides like W&L Johnson (working to diversify), American Frederick Douglas or one if the UNC/UVA/W&M full rides.

Good luck to you.

From everything you’ve shared, you’re going to be a very strong candidate at all schools. Being a very strong candidate, however, does not mean that you are assured admittance, as there are far more more strong candidates than there are spots. I’d suspect though that your odds are better than the regular admissions rates.

What were your AP scores from junior year?

I’m curious about Florida. What’s the attraction? You might want to look at some forums about Florida’s business school. Some disgruntled parents and students about too many online classes.

I would suggest Georgia Tech. Smaller, direct admission business program.

Additionally, I’m thinking that UNC might be a good reach school. Maybe add another like South Carolina. Excellent business school and you would probably be competitive for merit and honors programs.

Good luck.

I have a son in Engineering at UF and his best friend (who I know well) is a Business major. He had a lot of APs & dual enrollment and started essentially as a Sophomore. He completed his first year at UF as a Business major and didn’t take a single online class.

I think you’re gonna get into Wharton. If that’s where you want to go (and why wouldn’t you), then yes, apply there ED, and I think that you’ll get accepted.
