Please be honest with me. It’s absolutely fine to tell me that I have no chance of getting in. If more information is need, please comment. Thanks!!

make sure you have a strong essay, but i mean you have the grades and ECs hows your volunteer hours and work?

My dad has a business, i work for him (not paid). Im a volunteer at ymca. Also, im doing community service during summer.

Everything looks good. It just depends on your interests. I’m assuming you want to do business by your EC’s, but if so you need to highlight this a little more. And if not, that shows how much your EC’s reflect about you.
My advice is just to get involved in the area that you are interested in.

I will try to do more business related ec during summer. Thanks!

You have a great SAT score and grades, but the problem is that students applying to the Ivy’s also have almost the same stats. What sets you apart are your ECs. Unfortunately, yours are pretty general. If you are interested in finance get a job somewhere that might relate to that or intern under someone in that field. Also, be sure to try to set yourself apart with through your personal statement (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT). Other than that you have a great shot! CHange me too if you can :)

haha thanks! umm im trying to join business programs during summer and get an internship somewhere. and for volunteering i’ll do my best during summer and the first semester of my senior year.

good EC’s and grades however i’m sure Wharton want you to demonstrate how you’re different from the other hordes of asian applicants with the same academic profile as you, even volunteer work and business programs are quite common. ask yourself, what can you do to ‘dazzle’ the adcoms? there was somebody on this forum who earned $300,000 investing in stocks, he brought that up in his interview and got in to Wharton. best of luck.

please chance me
