<p>Hello! I am a junior in high school in Florida and very interested in USC Annenberg. I plan on majoring in Communications and know Annenberg is fairly competitive. Does it make a difference that I'm out of state? What are my chances? I would greatly appreciate an answer.</p>

Had all A's freshman and sophomore year, got two B's this semester in AP Calc and Chem
3 years of Spanish
Will have 10 AP credits by end of senior year
I have not taken the ACT or SAT yet (I know, I know, Im on it)</p>

Surfrider (Co-founder and Historian; its a club based on saving coastal resources) Co-founded this year

I volunteer at the library every week (among other things) and will have over 100 hours by the end of this school year</p>
<p>Communications/Journalism Related Stuff:
-In Yearbook, going to be an editor next year
-Been in Advanced Broadcast TV & Digital Media for 3 years, was named a Senior News Producer and wrote the scripts for the daily news shows. Have directed the school news shows many times. Have produced, directed, shot, and starred in many school productions.
-In Visual Design and have an online portfolio of my work (Also known as Comm Tech I)
-Was on the online newspaper staff
-Have taken Journalism I (Its the only level of Journalism they have here, sadly)
-I attend the Florida Scholastic Press Association Convention and compete
-Was approached to cover an event for our local newspaper, but sadly got canceled on
