One of my friends had less ECs than you, a lower GPA, and a lower SAT score. She got into Michigan.

However, she did have leadership…try to be captain of one of your clubs to increase your chances.

bumppp cmon yall i need some helpp

Well, UCB all I know would be difficult to get into because of your out of state status.

bumpppppppp

Bump bump bump bump bump bump bump it up

In at USC, Emory, and Michigan

Borderline admit at Vanderbilt

Reject at UC Berkeley (unless in-state (which appears unlikely since you said you were at a NY private school), if you are in-state in California then you would be accepted unless you are applying for engineering where you would be a borderline admit)

thanks calcruzer anybody elseee?

I think your chances are worse than Calcruzer said at Emory.

The GPA and SAT hurt you.

I agree that you could get into both USC and Mich, and if you were in state you would get in at UCB most likely.

Emory and Vanderbilt I would say would be the hardest to get into.

thanks anybody else?

USC- yes, UCB- no

just from the information you have provided i would say no to most of those universities…i mean you have no leadership, fine SATs, good grades, not too many service learning hours, so nothing really stands out…

you might be able to get into USC but UC-Berkley would be a really big reach, and the others would be reaches. What, exactly, do you want to study in school?

i mean im a junior i am gonna re-take the SAT’s and yes some of these are reaches, i knew that coming in… not exactly sure what i want to study but thanks a lot guys i think i got the idea… the GPA and SAT need to be a bit higher and maybe find a leadership position over the summer…
