Unfortunately, I think your SAT scores are currently too low. I have anecdotal reasons for saying this.

My brother’s kid got rejected with 2100 SATs, and my friend’s kid got rejected despite a 740 on the math sat.

So unless you are a left handed pitcher with a 98 mile fastball, unfortunately, I think USC is a reach. Try to raise your SAT scores. My son raised his math sat from a 660 to a 700 with zero studying, and raised his CR from a 730 to an 800, with zero studying.

Of course, you might as well apply, because you never know.

My dad got his masters there, along with my brother who did undergrad and law school there and my sister that just did undergrad. Does that help?

Yes, having legacy at USC helps a lot. USC has very strong alumni programs and is very generous towards those who have connections within the school.

As already mentioned, your SAT scores are below average for USC. Also your EC’s are very generic and doesn’t express an interest in a particular field of study. Your GPA is good enough for USC. Work on your SAT and USC will become a match for you. As of now, it is probably a low reach/high match (only because of your legacy).
