Chances for usc????

I'd like to start by saying I'd appreciate any help so thanks in advance.

I am a senior at at public high school in NY outside the city (in Westchester).

Here are my specs:

SAT (I only took it once):2310 - [760 reading, 760 writing, 790 math]
SAT 2s (took each once) - 800 Math II
740 Latin
4.045 GPA (about a 94%) - [Freshman Year 3.911 (92%), Sophomore Year 3.914 (92%), Junior Year 4.317 (97%)]
Course-load: All honors throughout high school, including 9 APs (and of the five I've already taken the exams for, I've received three 4s and one 5 [in AP Music Theory])

Resume wise, in school, I have good activity in clubs (President of Spanish Club (2 years), Student Representative for Latin Club (this year) and several other clubs), been in several plays, done lots of stuff through the school's music program and have played various sports each year (baseball 3 years (2 varsity), 1 year of varsity tennis, 1 year varsity cross country). Outside of school, I really focus on music and have prepared a music supplement which I've sent.

I also feel I have very strong essays (I spent weeks on each one)...

I am really hoping this can be a safer school for me...what do you guys think?

Thanks!

Very good chance, imo. Good luck!

I think you will be admitted in late Jan or early Feb with a scholarship and be invited to interview in Los Angeles. With your SAT I, I have to ask whether you took the National Merit test (PSAT), as USC loves NM scholars!

Didn’t apply for a scholarship, just RD (Jan. 15 deadline) :/…
I did take the PSAT but I had major timing issues (I got a 210 = National Merit Commended)…the length of the SAT I really helped me as it kinda solved my time issues and let me only focus on answers (though time will still somewhat of an issue haha).

You are more than likely to be accepted, though I wouldn’t count USC as a “safety”, more of like a “good target” or “likely match”. Have fun at wherever you decide to go, I’m sure you will have many options to look out for. :)
