I am a high school senior, who is applying to colleges in Florida and I would like to know my chances. I am graduating through the Academy of Finance.

GPA Unweighted : 2.5 (Should be closer to a 3.0 after Senior Year, also I've taken some classes online and I'm not sure how the college will count them all)

I am taking all AP or Honors courses this year. I did the same last year except for 1 class.

That is not my superscore because I did my best in every section in September.

Now here is what I hope helps me get into schools.

In March of 2012, I launched a site that covers all of my interests and have been working on it for over 6 months. Now in September almost 6.5 months later we have over 330,000 views with over 100,000 of the views being produced in September which shows excellent growth.

Can someone please tell me how much "Special Skills/Interests" are to colleges in general? I'm not sure how many other applicants have a pretty successful site to there name. Thanks

Your best hope is, of course, that the 3.0 will actually materialize.

USF: Match (at 2.5)/Safety (at 3.0)
FSU: High match (at 2.5)/Low match (at 3.0)
FGCU: Low match (at 2.5)/Safety (at 3.0)
FAU: High match (at 2.5)/Low match (at 3.0)
UCF: high match (at 2.5)/Low match (at 3.0)

I appreciate the chances. Do you think my website will give me an advantage over similar applicants and also my previous ACT score was a 22 composite. Will this new score make a huge difference? Or do they care about the GPA far more?

An upward trend in both GPA and test scores is often well-appreciated. But I’m still out on the impact of an applicant-built website’s success on the applicant’s chances.

Alright, thanks Catria. I am hoping that the admission officers would be quite impressed that I have grown the site (which is also a business) in just 6 months to the size it is right now. I also manage 11 other staff members who are located all over the world including Las Vegas, England, and Australia.
